Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Carpentry/Cabinetmaker Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will support our skilled tradespeople in the production and installation of custom pieces.

 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in assembling and general installations.
  • Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Measure, cut, and shape aluminium and fibreglass materials as directed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Follow all company procedures. and keep a clean workspace

 
Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an ambitious and eloquent Finance Expert with exceptional expertise and skill to help organise and manage our financial operations. This role offers a unique opportunity for a high-potential candidate to be recognised for their contributions and potentially transition into a CFO position within 6 to 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
    • Reconcile receipts, invoices, and financial transactions in Xero.
    • Ensure all financial records are up-to-date and accurately reflect company activities.
    • Prepare detailed financial reports for the CEO and compliance reports for the ATO.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
    • Provide direct financial reports to the CEO regularly.
    • Develop financial projections for accurate operational ROI assessments.
    • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Governance & Compliance:
    • Assist in preparing governance reports and documentation.
    • Participate in audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
    • Complete employee share agreements, options agreements, and other governance documents within 6 months.
  • Team Management:
    • Manage and mentor an online assistant to support financial and administrative tasks.
    • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure timely completion of assigned duties.
    • Provide guidance and training to enhance the assistant’s skills and productivity.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for automation and implement AI or software solutions to enhance financial processes.
    • Develop and refine remote work procedures and policies collaboratively.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Develop quantified value propositions for all stakeholders.
    • Support capital-raising efforts with accurate financial data and insights (as needed).


Qualifications
:

  • Education & Certification:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus but not required.
  • Experience:
    • Demonstrated competency in accounting and financial management.
    • Proven experience with Xero accounting software is essential.
    • Experience in managing or mentoring staff is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with Hubdoc is a plus; training can be provided.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
    • Knowledge of AI and automation software tools is highly desirable.
